I have a question for you...


I have a question for you:

What do Hypertension, Tooth decay, Cancer, and Subluxation have in common?

Feeling


That's right, feeling.


When does a person feel hypertension, tooth decay, cancer, and subluxation?

The answer is: after the dis-ease process has been breaking the body down for a long period of time, then one feels 'it'.
The point is this: basing your health on how you feel is shortsighted and often costly. Optimal health is optimal function, just as good health is good function, and poor health is poor function...
health = function = homeostasis (balance, harmony, and ease on a cellular level).

Some of you may be asking what is a subluxation anyway?

Subluxation is stress adaptation in the body that results in misalignments, tension, and/or loss of motion in one or more of the spinal segments. Simply put, when the spine is not working as good as it could.

Subluxation = misalignments, tension, and/or loss of motion in any of the spinal segments due to stress (physical stressors, emotional stressors, and chemical stressors). This stress and tension in the spine puts stress and tension in the nerve system. And when the nerve system has stress and tension in it, the brain and body communication system gets interfered with, causing the body to not work properly and breakdown. In addition, stress and tension in the spine puts stress and tension in the nerve system causing a decrease in nerve energy to the body, which in turn causes the body to breakdown and not work properly.

This is one of the reasons why chiropractors educate people about the importance of regular chiropractic care. Because damage can occur to your body without you even feeling it. I often teach this simple fact: you only feel 10% of your nerve system because 90% is for function and 10% is for feeling. This means 9 out of 10 times when there is stress and tension in the spine causing stress and tension in the nerve system you will feel nothing, zip, zero, nada!!! Subluxation, just like cancer, heart disease, and tooth decay will show no signs or symptoms for long periods of time even though damage is being done on a cellular level. People often feel great for years to only find out one day that they have some major health problem that went undetected for years. This is why we urge you to get your spine checked even when you feel great.

You see, regular chiropractic care is so important for your overall well being. Regular chiropractic care along with regular spinal hygiene exercises is like brushing and flossing the spine. Just like brushing and flossing the teeth, it is wise to 'brush and floss' the spine. Just like good dental hygiene is important, so is good spinal hygiene. As a matter of fact, it is my humble opinion that it is more important to have good spinal hygiene because teeth are replaceable and the spine isn't.

I really do hope you are feeling me on this one.

It is good spinal hygiene that prevents spinal degeneration, nerve interference and total body breakdown. Spinal Hygiene..."All Systems Go!"

The nerve system consists of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and neurotransmitters. Your nerve system is what is used by the intelligent life inside of you to control and coordinate all functions in your body. All systems in the body communicate with each other and the brain via the nerve system. The nerve system is known as the master control system, it controls and regulates everything…the immune system, circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, endocrine system, muscular system, skeletal system, reproductive system, and excretory system all need the nerve system to function properly so they can function properly.

The spine protects the spinal cord and allows nerve roots to exit and branch out to all areas of the body. The spine is designed to move and be in alignment. When the spine is aligned and moving well there is clear and optimal nerve system energy and function. When the spine is misaligned and/or restricted in movement there is interference in nerve system energy and function. This is vital, since the nerve system is the master system that controls and coordinates all functions of the body, it is very important to take care of the spine because the spine directly affects the nerve system. In short, the spine affects the nerve system, and the nerve system affects the whole body!

When the spine is misaligned or restricted in movement it is called a subluxation. This loss of motion and/or alignment in the spine causes the body to break down at an increased rate. Specifically, a subluxation causes: 1) a decrease in health promoting signals to the brain (proprioception) 2) an increase in stress signals to the brain (nocioception) 3) a break down and degeneration of the spine and related structures 4) an interference in nerve system function and energy. 5) overall breakdown and degeneration of the whole body (systems, organs, tissues, and cells)

Good spinal hygiene clears out subluxations in the spine. Good spinal hygiene requires these two things on an ongoing basis: 

1) exercises that strengthen the muscles surrounding the spine (core spinal hygiene exercises) 
2) and MOST IMPORTANTLY chiropractic adjustments to remove interference to the nerve system.  The intelligent life inside of you uses these adjustments to get the spine aligned and moving properly (free up any restrictions in movement of the spine). ChiropracTIC and core spinal hygiene exercises work together to retrain the spine into optimal alignment and allow freedom of movement on each spinal level. 

When chiropractic and core spinal hygiene exercises are performed regularly it removes nerve interference, restores proper spinal function, restores proper nerve system function, which in turn restores proper function to all systems in the body…

Choices...Relief, Prevention, Wellness


In 'Health Care' you may here about relief, prevention, and wellness. Let's explore...

Relief - mostly everyone who is in some sort of pain or discomfort obviously wants relief...I certainly do whenever I have in pain. However, when relief is the only aim it becomes a shortsighted objective which often times leads to greater problems in the end. 'Relief Only' type of care is usually addressing only the symptoms instead of the cause. This is an old paradigm of care and it is outdated, costly, temporary, and shortsighted.

Prevention- Prevention is a word that gets thrown around a lot. Most people associate prevention with a more expensive/more advanced diagnostic test designed to detect a problem that has already happened at an 'early stage'. So I ask this question: If it has been detected did it get prevented? Therefore I say prevention or preventative care is a type of care that helps prevent something from happening - at any stage. This would include healthy lifestyle choices like exercise, eating nutrient dense whole foods from the earth rather than a package, thinking loving thoughts and keeping a positive affirmative mental attitude, dental hygeine, spinal hygeine (spinal exercises and chiropractic), etc. the difference I think between prevention and wellness is two things: 1) the mindset - focusing on preventing something rather than focusing on being at your best. This thinking tends to keep the focus on the 'diseases' or problems which tends to keep someones mindset 'tuned into' all the diseases and problems, which ultimately limits someone. The wellness and prevention lifestyle choices would be the same, perhaps with wellness the goal is to optimize health which leads to engaging in lifestyle choices more frequently than prevention.

Wellness- Recognition that we need to engage in lifestyle choices that create harmony and balance in mind, body, and spirit so we may be at our best and get the most out of life! Being your best! When we engage in wellness choices, then we focus on being our best, which creates a very empowering mindset. When OPTIMIZING HEALTH is the goal LOOKING GREAT and FEELING GREAT is the natural byproduct!!!

What do you want for your life? Perhaps changing your focus and paradigm when it comes to health is what makes most sense to you...GO FOR IT - this is your day - Carpe Diem!

- The Importance of the Neuro-Spinal System -



The nerve system is the brain, spinal cord, spinal nerves, and neurotransmitters. The nerve system is the master system in the human body. Whatever you call it (Spirit for me), the Spirit/Power/Life Energy/Chi (etc. etc.) that makes us Alive uses the nerve system to control and coordinate all human physiology...it is what makes the mind and body work properly! The nerve system is the medium used to carry our Life Energy that is encoded with information, in the form of mental impulses, from the brain cells to the tissue cells and from the tissue cells back to the brain cells. It is the 'Innernet'.

It is by far the most important system of our body.

The spine and nerve system go hand in hand. The spine is loaded with mechanoreceptors (a neurological relay system to the brain that monitors spinal movement and function). These receptors greatly influence brain function. When the spine is functioning properly, the whole nerve system benefits - and when our whole nerve system benefits our whole being benefits. The spine is so important for overall health, healing and well being.

The spine houses and protects the spinal cord, which is the information highway of our being. It is not only the “health key board” of our body but also is its support structure; just like the “spine” of a building.

The spine is our back, which is what is behind us: our past! The spine harbors all the past experiences we could not properly process and integrate. It is also where we carry everything that we do not want the world to see. It is where we store our “baggage” and our stresses. Many past patterns that no longer serve us lay stagnant, stuck there, affecting our being and physiology.

Let me apply this to you and your life. Think about this: The specific chiropractic adjustment process restores the neurological connections between your brain and body back to optimal levels. Why do Americans continue to purchase more and more wasteful bottled water every year despite bottled water being no safer than tap water? The answer is simple: Marketing.

Water bottles have been showing up more and more in our favorite television programming. Fiji Water frequently appears of the show Brothers & Sisters while Poland Spring water is a common prop on the set of The Office. At Whole Foods, the number one item sold by unit is bottled water, above all other food sold at their supermarkets.

We always hear complaints about the cost of gasoline, but why has bottled water consumption increased so much despite it being 3 to 4 times the cost of gasoline. The intense marketing campaigns of the bottled water corporations have us mindlessly buying water in plastic bottles over and over again. Americans need to realize that we can help the environment and our paychecks by installing in-home water filtration systems, for a fraction of the cost of buying bottled water.

The chemicals leached into the bottled water from the plastic are toxic and problematic...tap water is toxic...so, get a filtration system. I bought a system that makes 7 types of water...this system is so great in many ways: it is the greatest health promoting system I could find, it eliminates environmental waste, it saves me thousands of dollars over the course of ten to fifteen years, and it even talks to me : )

AMA Recognizes Chiropractic

With the recent recognition of Chiropractic by the American Medical Association, clarification on terminology and purpose is needed. It is my experience that the public is thoroughly confused as to what Chiropractic is and does.


To eliminate any misunderstanding let’s make perfectly clear that Chiropractic and Medicine are two separate and distinct professions.

Medicine deals strictly with sickness and disease whereas Chiropractic deals with the restoration, maintenance and enhancement of health. So at the one end of the spectrum we have Medicine which along with the pharmaceutical companies constitute a sickness and disease management industry. At the other end of the spectrum we have Chiropractic which invests itself exclusively in restoring and maintaining normal function and health.

Medicine care for the ill is based on pathology, medication and surgery. It focuses on ways to either suppress symptoms or to stimulate or inhibit effects.

Chiropractic care is based on health, correction of cause, proper function, purification and cooperation with natural processes.

Where you need to be sick to utilize Medicine, you do not need and preferably you should not be ill to undertake Chiropractic care. Where Medicine studies disease processes. Chiropractic studies health and living processes. Where Medicine is at war to fight, attack, bombard, destroy, and eliminate bacteria, microbe, virus and disease, Chiropractic recognizes that a harmonious symbiotic relationship with our environment is possible, by allowing the body to function properly and adapt within the framework of nature’s laws. Where Medicine fights disease, Chiropractic turns on life.

As much as there is a time and place for Medicine, there is a time and place for Chiropractic. Today Medicine is abused, misused and overused: countless unnecessary surgeries are performed every year and hundredths of thousands of live could be saved by carving out the use of prescription medications and over the counter drugs.Where Medicine shines is in the arena of emergency, first aid and crisis care.

Chiropractic is misused and underused by many as well, frequently used as a last resort when it should be first choice. Common sense dictates that the sequence of care needs to be from the least invasive to the most invasive. So, Chiropractic first, Medicine second and surgery last.

In conclusion both professions are fully separate and distinct in principle, reasoning and method of practice. One is not exclusive of the other.

The American Medical Association - Guilty of Federal Crimes against Chiropractic

etc. etc.

Did you ever hear these kind of comments from people or physicians?
The sad thing is most people who have a bias against chiropractic have never tried it, really read up on it, or evaluated the philosophy, art and science of chiropractic.  




Did you ever wonder why the undertones of this bias seems to perpetuate in our society? I have friends that practice in Ireland, Italy, Spain, South America and other places overseas. They tell me that the bias seems to be the opposite...chiropractic is highly revered or at least the people are completely open to it.

Most people don't know where this bias came from in our country.  Most people are unaware of the truth about the AMA's conspiracy against chiropractic. Yes, conspiracy...organized medicine spent decades and millions of dollars trying to discredit and destroy chiropractic.  This created a very strong mis-information case against chiropractic before the day and age of the internet and information at our fingertips.  This took place in the day and age when my 'Grandfather would have jumped off a bridge if his medical doctor said so' (well I hope not, don't think he really would have, probably would have come close though).

Here is a summary of the facts about the conspiracy to contain and eliminate the chiropractic profession.

On August 27, 1987, Judge Susan Getzendanner, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division, found the American Medical Association, The American College of Surgeons, and The American College of Radiology, guilty of having conspired to destroy the profession of chiropractic in the United States. In a 101-page opinion, Judge Getzendanner ruled that the American Medical Association and its co-conspirators had violated the Sherman Antitrust Laws of the United States. Evidence at the trial showed that the defendants took active steps, often covert, to undermine chiropractic educational institutions, conceal evidence of the usefulness of chiropractic care, undercut insurance programs for patients of chiropractors, subvert government inquiries into the efficacy of chiropractic, engage in a massive disinformation campaign to discredit and destabilize the chiropractic profession and engage in numerous other activities to maintain a medical physician monopoly over health care in this country.

It is a shame that hundreds of thousands of caring medical doctors and millions of their patients were deceived by the AMA. This deception perpetuated ideas and concepts against chiropractic founded on dogma, not science, not clinical outcomes...not results... it stemmed from criminal corruption.


The fact is that chiropractic care is so great, powerful, and helpful for people that the AMA felt threatened.

My Health Shake


Here is a shake recipe that is a TRUE HEALTHY MEALThis shake is packed with great nutrition!!!  This recipe can be used as a meal replacement for those interested.  For the dozens of people that have tasted this, they all seem to be pleasantly surprised that it actually tastes good and is very 'filling'.

1 whole organic banana or frozen berries (you can peel banana's and put them in the freezer.  This makes for a colder shake)

1 organic granny smith apple (need to remove the seeds and core)

3 leaf and stem of organic Kale (recommended for Vitamix, Blendtech, etc,  only)

1 cup of organic Broccoli (can be frozen too)

1 - 2 Tbsp of organic unsalted almond butter

Cultural Doubt and Unbelief Needs to be Shattered

I was reflecting on the intentions I have, in regards to my ChiropracTIC career.  I am leading as many people as possible to higher levels of health and well-being through chiropracTIC and sharing the truth about health, healing and well-being. These intentions are not so easy to attain. For a few underlying reasons there is a tremendous amount of doubt and unbelief about what chiropracTIC is and does. My level of passion and commitment to the community is high, however, much bias and cultural hypnosis exists.

After reflecting on this I have realized a unique thing about people this day and age. It is an abnormally high level of doubt and unbelief that high levels of health and well-being are obtainable.  People have lost the understanding that health is our natural state. Also, there is an unusual amount of cynicism towards health, healing, and well-being.

People seem to be clueless that they were born to be healthy and vibrant. They really are being led to believe that their bodies are weak and broken, life is sickness, and that they will most likely crawl into the grave after suffering some life robbing illness. That’s the way they see most other people going, so they don’t expect anything else. Not only do they expect nothing better but … they do nothing to change the ‘normal’ path to sickness, degenerative disease and death.

This has caused me to realize the seriousness of my work – literally - people are dying because of faulty beliefs about how the body works, how health is cultivated, and what healing is! No Joke, most people are slowly ‘wilting and withering’ over time into a sickly state and continue to get worse over time. This kind of living robs most people of the quality of life they deserve and moreover puts them to any early death. ChiropracTIC offers a ABOVE DOWN INSIDE OUT PHILOSOPHY that allows anyone to choose a paradigm of Vitalistic Living as a solution to health and well-being!  People need to hear it this! The cultural hypnosis, cynicism, doubt and unbelief needs to be broken by the truth. It needs to be shattered by changed lives, restored health, and vibrant living.

I am ensuring you that I am committed to helping people get a higher quality of life that is healthy and vibrant! I am even expecting that YOU will pick up the ball and work with me to break through the attitudes that are killing people (killing most people slowly and steadily -- Chronic Degenerative Disease).

There is a reason that our country spends the most on ‘health’ care yet ranks 37th in overall health performance. The current mindset of doubt and unbelief about health and healing has become a cultural paradigm towards health and 'health care' that is really 'sick care'.  This 'sick care' model is perpetuated by the pharmaceutical industry which advertises to the general public by the tune of over 19 million dollars a day, along with the pharmaceutical reps educating and influencing medical doctors about the ‘benefits’ of their drugs (through sloppy science that gives relative data, not absolute data).

For the record, of course drugs and surgery are necessary and valuable and have a absolute place in helping people...i.e., in crisis, first aid, emergency, traumas etc... however, the current way drugs and surgery are practiced in our society is a major problem..it is out of control. For instance, What drug or surgery is going to cure a sickness or disease that results from vertebral subluxation? What drug or surgery is going to cure a sickness or disease that results from being deficient in nutrition?  What drug or surgery is going to cure  a sickness or disease that results from not exercising?  What drug or surgery is going to cure a sickness or disease that results from chronic emotional stressors?


Your family, your neighbors, your co-workers and your friends all need to be lead to higher levels of health. Let’s commit to showing them the love and encouragement necessary so they give up their old beliefs that are not working and open up to a new and better life. Transformation is possible!  Let’s help people get well and stay well!

Cleansing and The Master Cleanse


Cleansing is a great part of any health promoting lifestyle. To start, pick a day and eat only raw local grown organic fruits and vegetables...this will be cleansing. Then pick a few days or even a week and do the same. From here you can move on to juicing, pick a day and juice raw local grown organic fruits and vegetables...this is cleansing. Then pick a few days or even a week and do the same.

Some points of information:
Use greens when juicing: kale, swiss chard, mustard greens, parsley, beet greens, etc.
Those with blood sugar challenges will usually do fine with the 'liquid food' cleanse.  If not, eat a teaspoon to 2 tablespoons of avacado with each serving of 'liquid food'.
Below is a cleanse I do twice a year.  It is a very easy cleanse to do, because you can make everything you need in the morning, and take it with you all day long (see bottom of this blog for details), and it will satisfy your physical appetite...it will fill you up if you try to drink a gallon a day (most people find impossible to get in a whole gallon a day...they are too full)

THE MASTER CLEANSE OR LEMONADE DIET

Purpose:
To dissolve and eliminate toxins and congestion that have formed in the body.
To cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system.
To purify the glands and cells throughout the entire body.
To eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
To relieve pressure and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
To build a healthy blood stream.
To keep youth and elasticity regardless of our years.

WHEN TO USE IT?
When sickness has developed— for all acute and chronic conditions.
When the digestive system needs a rest and a cleansing.
When overweight has become a problem.
When better assimilation and building of body tissue is needed.

AND HOW OFTEN?
Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more— up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time. Three to four times a year will do wonders for keeping the body in a normal healthy condition. The diet may be undertaken more frequently for serious conditions.

HOW TO MAKE IT?
One serving:
-2 Tablespoons juice from fresh organic from lemons
-2 Tablespoons organic grade b 100% maple syrup
-1/10 Teaspoon(400 mg) cayenne pepper (40,000 heat units or more, buy capsules-open them up)
-10 oz purified water, room temp, (purified water or distilled—distilled is best for this cleanse)

One quart:
You can combine 3 servings: (juice, maple syrup, water and cayenne pepper) in a glass quart jar (30oz of the drink). Shake it up and drink. (Cold water may be used if preferred.) Must use glass!!! Plastic will leach harmful toxins.

*(you can use a product called cool cayenne if needed)

HOW MUCH DOES ONE DRINK?
Take six to twelve servings of the lemonade drink daily during the waking period (at least six). Drink one glass at least every hour and a half for best results. As you get hungry just have another serving of the lemonade drink. NO OTHER FOOD SHOULD BE TAKEN DURING THE FULL PERIOD OF THE DIET. As this is a complete balance of minerals and vitamins, one does not suffer the pangs of hunger. Do not use vitamin pills. All solid food is turned into a liquid state before the blood can carry it to the cells. The lemonade is already a food in liquid form. For those who are overweight, less maple syrup may be taken. For those underweight, more maple syrup may be taken. For those who are underweight and worried about losing more weight, REMEMBER, the only things you can possible lose are mucus; waste, and disease. Healthy tissue will not be eliminated. Many people who need to gain weight actually do so near the end of the diet period. Never vary the amount of lemon juice per serving. About six servings of lemonade a day is enough for those wishing to reduce. Extra water may be taken as desired.

ELIMINATING
As this is a cleansing diet, the more you can assist Nature to eliminate poisons, the better. IF YOUR SYSTEM FEELS UPSET, IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT HAVING SUFFICIENT ELIMINATION. Avoid this possibility by following these directions completely (laxative tea and salt water cleanse-see next page). Above all, be sure you have two, three, or more movements a day. This may seem unnecessary not eating solid food, but it is Nature’s way of eliminating the waste it has loosened from the various cells and organs in the body. They must leave the body some way. It would be just the same as sweeping the floor around and around and never removing the dirt from the house if the wastes were not passed out. The better the elimination, the more rapid will be the results.
-A LAXATIVE HERB TEA is found to be the best helper for most persons. It is a good practice to take a good laxative herb tea right from the beginning— the last thing at night and first thing in the morning. There are several good laxative teas. They are best taken in a liquid form. Buy them in your health food store.
-INTERNAL SALT WATER BATHING
As it is necessary to bathe the outside of our bodies, so it is with the inside. Do not take enemas or colonics at any time during the cleansing diet or afterwards. They are unnecessary and can be extremely harmful. There is a much superior method of cleansing the colonic tract without the harmful effects of customary colonics and enemas. This method will cleanse the entire digestive tract while the colonics and enemas will only reach the colon or a small part of it. Colonics can be expensive while our salt-water method is not. DIRECTIONS: Prepare a full quart of lukewarm water and add two level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt. Do not use ordinary iodized salt, as it will not work properly. Drink the entire quart of salt and water first thing in the morning. This must be taken on an empty stomach (you can lick a cut lemon to make your taste buds tart, then drink the salt water - this is a trick that makes it a lot easier to drink the salt water). The salt and water will not separate but will stay intact and quickly and thoroughly wash the entire tract in about one hour. Several eliminations will likely occur. The salt water has the same specific gravity as the blood, hence the kidneys cannot pick up the water and the blood cannot pick up the salt. This may be taken as often as needed for proper washing of the entire digestive system. If the salt water does not work the first time, try adding a little more or a little less salt until the proper balance is found; or possible take extra water with or without salt. This often increases the activity. Remember, it can do no harm at any time. The colon needs a good washing, but do it the natural way—the salt water way. It is quite advisable to take the herb laxative tea at night to loosen, then the salt water each morning to wash it out. If for some reason the salt water cannot be taken in the morning, then the herb laxative tea must be taken night and morning.

REMEMBER THESE MUSTS:
-You must use all organic ingredients!!! 

-You must use purified water (distilled, reverse osmosis, or KDF w Carbon is also good), I use kangen water 8.5 for my mixture. 
-You must use glass containers (mason jars are good). 
-You must drink at least six servings of the lemonade drink a day (6 to 12 servings a day). 
-You must eliminate 2 or more times a day, by the aid of laxative teas and the salt water flush. 
-You must also drink additional purified water throughout the day (www.newlifewater.info) drink 6 to 12 glasses (8oz).

If you follow all these steps you are going to have a successful cleanse, and will do a world of difference to help clean out and rebuild your body.


Lastly, a quick and easy way to make the drink each morning:
--Start with a gallon jug, I bought an amber gallon jug (amber blocks light)  http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin1d.html , or you can buy a gallon jug of wine and dump it out, clean the bottle and you are ready to go.
--Juice 6 organic lemons in a juicer, put in gallon jug
--Put 4.5-9oz of maple syrup in a measuring cup (1tbs=1/2oz), as stated above if you desire more weight loss you may cut back to 1tbs per serving, and for our purposes with a gallon jug, we are getting 9 servings total...pour maple syrup in gallon jug
--Take 5-10 capsules of cayenne, depending on preference (remember you can use cool cayenne too). I use natural factors cayenne, because my friend Pete at Natures Nutrition always has it.  I break the capsules open and put in gallon jug.
--Fill the rest of the jug with purified water.  Now you have 9 servings for the whole day!!! Shake well before each use.

Your Invitation

There is only one way to get well, and that is healing. Treating and healing are very different. The goal of treatment is to make a symptom go away or feel better. The goal of healing is to have the body replace sick/injured/diseased cells with healthy cells. Healing is done through the law of cellular replacement...to get the sick cells to be replaced by healthy cells.

So, the focus in healing is not so much "how can I feel better", rather it is how can I get my cells healthier.

We are designed to be self regulating, self healing, and self repairing...the healing power is already in us. The healing power that is life activates our DNA to express helath. The problem is that we live so far from what we need genetically in terms of eating, exercise, and thinking that we are slowly destroying ourselves through time. Now is the time to get your life back!!!

I renew my mind daily and by doing so I am transformed from day to day, knowing who I am in Christ.


Free Yourself from the 'Treatment Merry Go Round'




I am confident and know my expertise, which is healing, and I am here to serve others with love, education and skillful service.

There seems to be a wonderful awareness that the model of 'Health Care' is actually Sick Care.  The current 'Health Care' system is an allopathic medical care system that is wonderful for emergency and crisis interventions. It saves lives!!! It is also great for buying time and helping people who need some assistance dealing with a symptom or 'disease process'. Sick care saves lives everyday in emergency situations.  Sick care is amazing in acute injuries and first aid scenarios.  Sick care helps in crisis, emergencies, acute injuries, etc.  However, Sick Care has failed miserably when it comes to health.  Chronic disease has risen dramatically in the last 70 years (per capita) even though our genes have not changed at all, and despite more drugs and surgery (per capita) being used each and every year.  The sick care model has failed to address our health.  People are realizing that they want to get out of Sick Care and into real Health Care. Actually, as mentioned earlier, there is a place for both types of care in your life, and knowing how and when to apply the appropriate type of care for the desired outcome you want is vital.


What about Health Care? What about healing, health, wellness, and wholeness? What about creating health in your body?

The chronic degenerative diseases that the modern world is plagued with is ridiculous!!! Our current 'health care' system here in the states is a failed system when it comes to health performance and quality of life. Read the reports; we spend more than any other country, have the best technology, the best drugs, the best surgeons etc etc etc ... yet we rate 37th in overall health performance http://www.photius.com/rankings/healthranks.html. Moreover, statistically speaking each person is disabled in some form or another by the age of 63.

There is a point in time when a person reaches enough awareness that they will want something better...and that is when the treatment merry go round will be over. Is this you? perhaps you have experienced or are experiencing right now the treatment merry go round; you have some problem and get treatment, then you have another problem and get another treatment, then you have another problem and get treatment and then another and so on and so on.  You go round and round and never seem to ever get in a good state of health. You can choose to get off the Treatment Merry Go Round.  This blog post is designed to guide you so that you have the confidence to get well and stay well.  

I do believe wholeheartedly that you can heal, get well and stay well.  You will be able to stay away from the 'merry go round' of treatment to treatment to treatment... Free yourself from the treatment 'merry go round' and get well.  


Let's get started!!! 

Remember, your body is made up of cells...cells make tissues...tissues make organs...and organs make systems. Your cells each have a lifespan rate; which means the 'stuff' in a cell and the whole cell itself will die off and be replaced by new cell 'stuff' and new cells in it's place. For example, your skin cells take around 5 to 7 days to cycle...your muscles, ligaments, and tendons about 4 to 6 weeks (that is why when someone sprains their ankle it is usually about 4-6 weeks before they are back to 'normal' when just resting)...your entire skeleton can take up to 36 months! http://www.hu.liu.se/ike/klinisk_kemi2/magnusson.

The good news is that most of your cells are replaced within a year!!! So, you can rebuild a new you within a year : )

When your cells are replaced with new cells there are basically three ways that this process can happen. The cells will either be replaced by cells which are 1) worse, 2) the same, or 3) better. All healing is done by replacing 'sick', injured, stressed, or 'diseased' cells with healthy cells (better cells).

So, you may ask, how can I get my cells to be replaced by better cells? 

That is the million dollar question my friend. You will read below the best way I have found to do this. I challenge anyone to put this to the test for 6 months to a year. Prove it wrong. If you genuinely do this with an open mind, I bet you will be forever grateful.

I also incorporate in my life ongoing Bodywork (massage) - from the standpoint of function in the body vs treatment of some sort of symptom....massage for the purpose of clearing out any muscle and fascial restrictions, so that you function better.  I do what I do because I want my 'system' to function better, which leads to optimal function in my body and mind...and that is true health!

Lastly, and most importantly KNOW THYSELF. Know your identity, the real you inside your body-mind. The core of you, the essence, the divine power that took a sperm and an egg from your mother and father and created you! I am a Christian, we call this Spirit, and specifically being in the Spirit of Christ in God the Father allowing the Holy Spirit to move in my life!  We are Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience...our Body-Mind is a Vehicle that carries our Spirit, what kind of vehicle do you want?  A broken down junker or a fine tuned beauty?


When you apply all the things written about in this post, and when you be these things... YOU WILL HEAL!!! It takes time and it takes work. If you do these things everyday, every week, and make this your lifestyle, YOU WILL HEAL!!!

The Trick: is to only focus on adding good stuff into your lifestyle.  Instead of eliminating things you crave or enjoy, only add good stuff...example: eat raw vegetables with every meal instead of eliminating the donuts or ice cream or chips or cookies or soda.  Focus only on adding good stuff in, and through time your cravings will slowly change.  Make this a year project, and go slow and steady.  Pick one thing a month to focus on.  Each month add a new thing into your lifestyle and by the end of the year you will have 12 new things working for your increased health and well being!  For example: 1st month - chiropractic, 2nd - a cup of raw vegetables with every meal, 3rd - start core performance or IMPACT, 4th - pray and meditate, 5th - commit to taking time for a hobby, 6th - juice or vita mix the color spectrum (red, green, yellow, orange, purple, blue), 7th - start a gratitude journal, 8th - focus on communicating something loving to each of your loved ones, 9th - probiotics, 10th - do a cleanse, 11th - Foam Roll (self myo-fascial release, in both books-core performance and IMPACT), 12th - make sure you are getting proper rest.  Now in now way is this intended as a must do in this order...create your own 12 month plan.  Start with something easy and build up each month!  Remember the trick is adding good things, focusing on putting good into the 'system'!!!


Lastly, healing and treatment are different. Healing, regaining your health and well-being is a process and takes time. Once you heal and regain your health, keeping yourself well is a lifestyle,  a being-ness that motivates the doing-ness that continues keeping yourself healthy and strong. You can do it, this is a reality for you.
